Scanvio is operated by TSN Tech & Strategy Network. Email us and a person reads it — there is no ticket robot in between. Most answers are below; if yours is not, write to us.

We answer within one business day, usually sooner. Include your account email and, if it is about a specific book or shipment, the ISBN or shipment id — it saves a round trip.

Connecting your Amazon account

How do I connect? Go to Settings and choose to connect your Amazon Seller account. Amazon asks you to approve the connection on its own site, then returns you to Scanvio. We never see or store your Amazon password.

The connection failed. The most common cause is being signed in to a different Amazon account in the same browser than the one you meant to connect. Sign out of Amazon, then try again. If it still fails, send us the error message shown on the page — it names the actual cause.

How do I disconnect? From Scanvio Settings, or from Seller Central under Apps and Services. Revoking from either side stops all access immediately.

Scanning and buy decisions

Why did a profitable-looking book say pass? Every pass names the rule it failed — profit floor, ROI, sales rank, number of competing sellers, or a gating restriction on your account. The reason is shown on the scan result, so you can decide whether the rule or the book is wrong.

What does gated mean? Amazon restricts some books to approved sellers. Scanvio asks Amazon about your account specifically, so the answer is yours rather than a general one. A gated book can be staged to the Scanvio marketplace instead.

The price looks wrong. Prices come from Amazon at the moment you scan and move constantly. If a number looks impossible rather than merely stale, tell us the ISBN and what you saw.

Listings and labels

My listing was rejected by Amazon. Amazon returns a reason and Scanvio shows it verbatim on the listing rather than a generic failure. Most rejections are a missing required attribute for that category, and the message names the field.

Where are my FNSKU labels? On the Listings page, per book, and on a shipment for everything in it at once. Labels need an FNSKU, which Amazon assigns in its own time after a listing is accepted — usually minutes, occasionally longer.

The condition on the label is wrong. The label prints the grade Amazon was told, including any override you set on the Listings page. Change it there and reprint.

FBA shipments

What are the steps? Create the inbound plan, confirm packing, pack boxes, choose placement, book transport, then print labels. Each step talks to Amazon and the wizard only moves forward when Amazon confirms.

Will confirming transport charge me? Only if you pick an Amazon-partnered carrier, and the price is shown before you confirm. Choosing your own carrier costs nothing through Scanvio.

Amazon offered no carriers. Usually a ship-from address Amazon cannot validate, or box weights and dimensions it will not carry. Check both in Settings and on the shipment, then reload the quotes.

Can I cancel a shipment? Any time before placement is confirmed. After that Amazon holds real shipment ids, and it has to be cancelled in Seller Central.

Receiving and short shipments

Where do I see what arrived? On the shipment, under Receiving at Amazon: status, tracking number, and units checked in against units sent. Scanvio refreshes this twice a day and you can check on demand.

My shipment closed short. Scanvio flags it, because this is claimable and the window closes. Open a reconciliation case in Seller Central under Inventory, then Manage FBA Shipments, using the shipment id shown.

Repricing

How is a new price chosen? Against comparable offers — same condition, same fulfilment — and never below what the book cost you plus fees and your margin.

Can I watch before trusting it? Yes. In Settings, turn repricing on but leave sending to Amazon off. Scanvio records every decision it would have made without changing anything, and you can read the audit trail before committing.

Billing

Where do I change or cancel my plan? Under Subscription in the app. Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.

Plans and prices are listed on the pricing page.
